When I wrote this song back in 1984 I imagined it being sung by a cowboy on a horse, so it’s appropriate that when I did eventually got around to singing it for the Blue Iguana movie over 30 years later, I was wearing a shirt with a galloping horse design......

I hear the leaves in the trees as they rustle in the breeze up above
I feel the warmth of your hand leadin' me to a wonderland of a whispering love
Don't deceive yourself don't lie, let's live before we die, you know it's love
Ask yourself ain't I the gent who's something more than your friend,
Ain't I your love?
And isn't this what you want, a handsome fella right to the point? And a Heaven's above!
I feel the warmth of your caress and the satin of your dress I know it's love
But don't pretend my pretty friend that love like this can ever end
You know that's not true
And you don't lie, don't deny, 'cause there's a feelin' down inside in the bottom of your heart
Whisperin' love.
I love your face and your hair and your smile that fills the air, you're divine
From your head to your toes you're an angel and God knows, you're mine, oh, you're mine
You're beautiful, you're great, so please don't hesitate, my love.
But don't pretend my pretty friend that love like this can ever end
You know that's not true
And you don't lie, don't deny, cause there's a feelin' down inside in the bottom of your heart
Whisperin's love.
I hear the leaves in the trees as they rustle in the breeze up above
I feel the warmth of your hand leadin' me to a wonderland of a whispering love
Don't deceive yourself don't lie, let's live before we die, you know it's love
Whispering love, whispering love, whispering love....repeat to fade.
